About Us

We Move What Industry Depends On

At RMA, we coordinate the sourcing and sea delivery of Finnish and Swedish crushed stone to buyers across the Baltic Sea, simplifying complex logistics into one managed service.

Our role

One managed service from quarry to port

R.A.W. Material Agency (RMA) is a coordination and trade intermediary operating in the Baltic Sea bulk aggregates market. We source Finnish and Swedish crushed stone and deliver it to buyers in the Baltic states and Northern Europe via sea freight.

Our role is not to act as a simple broker. RMA’s task is to build a practically deliverable supply model for the buyer identifying the right stone, the right route, the right commercial terms, and the right documentation for each specific need.

Each delivery can be supported by full technical documentation product data, laboratory results, weight certificates, and freight documents making Nordic aggregate an auditable, bankable supply option for infrastructure and industrial projects.

For buyers, this means one point of contact across the entire supply chain. For Nordic producers, it means access to Baltic Sea export markets without the burden of building international logistics infrastructure independently.

R.A.W. Material Agency connects Nordic aggregate producers with European industrial buyers and provides efficient, documented sea delivery services across the Baltic.

R.A.W. Material Agency (RMA) is a coordination and trade intermediary operating in the Baltic Sea bulk aggregates market. We source Finnish and Swedish crushed stone — granite aggregate, railway ballast, asphalt and concrete aggregate, and marine construction stone — and deliver it to buyers in the Baltic states and Northern Europe via sea freight.

Our mission is to connect producers and buyers with reliable, regulatory-compliant and financially secure delivery models.

RMA does not own quarries, vessels, or port infrastructure. Our role is to make trade workable in practice: we identify the right producer, the right port, the right vessel, and the right documentation for each delivery — and we manage the process from inquiry to discharge.
Our mission is to connect producers and buyers through reliable, EU-compliant, and financially sound delivery models. For buyers, this means one point of contact across the entire supply chain. For producers, it means access to export markets without the burden of managing international logistics independently.
Every delivery can be supported by full technical documentation — lab results, product data, weighbridge certificates, and freight documents — making Nordic aggregates an auditable, bankable supply option for infrastructure and industrial projects.

Expertise that moves business forward

We navigate complexity with confidence. Our team brings hands-on experience across the Baltic Sea aggregate supply chain from understanding quarry capabilities in Finland and Sweden to coordinating port logistics in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Germany.

We are familiar with EU regulatory requirements relevant to construction aggregates: CE marking, Declaration of Performance, REACH compliance where applicable, and customs documentation for cross-border bulk shipments. This means your delivery arrives prepared without delays or compliance surprises at the receiving port.

A network you can trust

Success in bulk logistics is built on strong, reliable connections. RMA works alongside established port operators in the Baltic region including facilities in the Estonian free zone corridor and Helsinki-area ports as well as trusted maritime carriers and internationally recognised testing laboratories including SGS and Saybolt.

This network allows us to source representative product samples, arrange independent laboratory testing, and verify documentation before shipment giving buyers confidence in both the material and the process.

Values in practice

The principles we do not compromise on

These are not brand statements. They are practical commitments that shape how RMA operates on every shipment.

Reliability

We deliver on our commitments. If a delivery cannot be made as agreed, we say so early and work to find a solution. Trial deliveries are the foundation of larger programmes — not promises made upfront. We invest in getting the first delivery right so the next one is easier for everyone.

Transparency

Clear processes, honest communication, and documentation that leaves no ambiguity. Buyers know what they are receiving, from where, and on what terms. No hidden steps, no fragmented information across multiple parties.

Long-term cooperation

We build partnerships designed to last. Seasonal delivery programmes are developed only after successful trial shipments — not offered as immediate commitments. We prioritise repeat business and consistent performance over one-off transactions.

Who we work with

Buyers, producers, and partners

RMA’s service is relevant to any party that needs to move Nordic bulk aggregate across the Baltic Sea or gain access to that market.

🏗

Infrastructure buyers

Construction companies, civil engineering contractors, and project developers in the Baltic states and Northern Europe needing road base, railway ballast, marine stone, or concrete aggregate for infrastructure projects.

🏭

Industrial producers

Concrete manufacturers, asphalt producers, and port engineering companies requiring stable, documented bulk aggregate supply for production or project-based needs.

Nordic quarry operators

Finnish and Swedish aggregate producers seeking access to Baltic Sea export markets without needing to build their own international logistics and commercial infrastructure.

What we supply

R.A.W. Material Agency focuses on industrial raw material streams that are essential to manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure-linked operations.

  • We connect industrial buyers with verified raw material sources, ensuring consistent quality, documentation, and efficient delivery across European markets.
  • From origin to final destination, we help simplify cross-border raw material trade by reducing complexity, improving visibility, and supporting long-term supply continuity.

Who we support

R.A.W. Material Agency works with industrial buyers looking for reliable access to raw materials and with producers seeking a practical route into European markets.

  • European industrial customers requiring stable and well-documented supply
  • Producers that need commercial representation and market access support
  • Partners who value transparent processes, compliance awareness, and repeatable execution

Compliance and market access

European industrial buyers need confidence that supply partners understand more than pricing and availability. We bring hands-on awareness of customs procedures, documentation requirements, REACH-related considerations, and CE-related market expectations that can affect delivery readiness.

This operational perspective helps reduce avoidable delays and improves the quality of communication around each transaction.

Network and execution support

Trade performance depends on the strength of the surrounding network. We work alongside established port operators such as Silsteve AS, Sillamae Free Zone, and Muuga, as well as railway partners and recognized testing laboratories including SGS and Saybolt.

These relationships strengthen quality control, logistics coordination, and practical execution across the delivery chain.

How We Work

A structured operating model for international supply

R.A.W. Material Agency operates through a clear execution model built to reduce uncertainty for both producers and industrial buyers. Each stage is designed to improve alignment, reduce friction, and support more dependable supply outcomes.
